In April of 2024, I was invited to photograph Angelica and Andrés' special day.

A civil wedding in Aveiro, in a regular registry office surrounded by the right people, in the wonderful city of Aveiro. That day had so much to be special and too good to be just a civil ceremony. The moment, even though formal, was emotional, lived, and profound.

Love was felt in that room, in those vows, in the looks of those who witnessed it.

Hand in hand, they promised themselves to each other, in the warmth and embrace of those they chose to be there with them. The photograph immortalized that moment and proved that there is nothing that is not worth recording when love and happiness are involved.

In the heart of Barra’s Beach, with the blue and white colors as a backdrop, the morning was filled with fun, pure joy, genuine love and a desire to smile non-stop.

With photography, we can relive these emotions as many times as we want. One day you’ll want to see all the memories again so yes, it’s a must to capture your civil wedding with a photographer that touches your heart.

I can't help but be happy about the importance they gave to capturing such a memorable moment, because ultimately, there shouldn't be limits when we celebrate happiness. Everything deserves to be lived to the fullest.
